School is the place where people send their children to learn and every parent wishes to send their kids to the best schools. In America, there are generally 2 types of schools, The Public schools and the private schools. Most people have a notion that the private schools are the place to go if you want to get a good standard education. There is always a debate about which among the two is better and there is always a mixed response regarding it. Now some people say that the public schools can’t be as good as private schools. Now the question is whether it is true or not. A typical Public School does not exist anymore in the United States of America as the public school system in America has be decentralized for a while now and the performance among the different schools vary significantly. In fact there are many public schools which perform way better than many of the private schools. In this age where all the information is available in the digital form, anyone and everyone has equal access to the knowledge, so differentiating the schools by keeping a bygone era in mind holds no good. The line between the private and the public schools exist no more and if someone still says that the private schools are better than public schools, then it is as good as saying that a book bought from a store has different content compared to the same title available in the public library.
All that matters is the effort and the dedication the child shows towards his education and his or her thirst to gain knowledge. There are many people as living examples who have made into the most prestigious colleges around the world after studying in public schools. This should be enough to prove that there is no difference in the quality of education imparted by the public and private schools.
