Home schooling is a challenge that for any parent. The choice to go for home schooling instead of the normal curriculum is a very brave one. The K-12 level of education is the most important part of a child’s life. This is what is in the hands of the parent and every thing has to be done properly. After this the child decides if she want to study further or just stop there. Many parents when practicing home schooling divert from the tested and proven track to new ways of teaching. These new techniques of teaching might be great or might be bad. A parent teaching at home will not follow all the rules of the education system. They are not supposed to, but what ever they follow, it is important that it is a proven system of education. Chose a curriculum that is proven to be worth the effort you put into it. You need to stick to the curriculum and keep other diversions to the minimum.
